Every price in this guide is for 12 hours with a professional driver, unless it says self drive.

Sedans are the most affordable way to get around Lagos. They suit meetings, errands and airport runs for one or two people.

SUVs: from ₦130,000
SUVs give you more room for passengers and luggage, and they are the usual choice for business and family trips.

Self drive: ₦130,000 for 24 hours
Prefer to drive yourself? Our self drive cars are the Honda Crosstour, Toyota Camry and Toyota Highlander. Each costs ₦130,000 for 24 hours within Lagos. There are extra charges for trips outside Lagos, and you need to book at least two days in advance. More details are on our self drive page.

You do not have to book a full 12 hours. Using the Toyota Corolla as an example:
- By the hour: ₦9,750 per hour
- Airport pickup or drop-off: ₦26,000 per trip
- Midnight rental: ₦84,500 per night
- Interstate trip: ₦162,500 per trip
Other cars follow the same pattern, so a bigger car costs more for each option. The booking form shows the exact figure for the car you pick.
How to keep the cost down
- Pick the car that fits the job. A Corolla does a day of errands as well as an SUV does, at less than half the price.
- Stay within the Island, Surulere and Ikeja axis, and within the 12 hours.
- Share a bus when you are moving a group.
- Book early for December and for weekends, when the popular cars go first.
